Eppen-Burger & Associates (E&A) was established on the 1st March 2004, coinciding with the promulgation of the Construction Regulations 2003. E&A was one of the first practicing Construction Health & Safety Agencies in the Western Cape and South Africa, strategically placing us at the forefront of the profession.
Eppen-Burger & Associates offers construction health & safety services to the construction industry.
Our core activity is representing the Client/Developer/Owner as the appointed Construction Health & Safety Agent (Pr.CHSA) in terms of the provisions of the Construction Regulations and the requirements of the statutory body for the registration of Pr.CHSAs, namely the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
Apart from our registered Pr.CHSAs and CHSMs, we have a team of construction health and safety officers (CHSOs) who run our contractor health and safety office offering health and safety officer services to contractors.

Professional Registration
The Construction Health & Safety Agent profession is overseen by the SACPCMP (South African Council for the Project & Construction Management Professions) of which both Andre Burger and Marius Eppenberger are registered as Pr. CHSAs (Professional Construction Health & Safety Agents). Michael Sanders, Hendrik Knoetze, Tiaan Botes and Wesley Lukas are registered with the SACPCMP as Construction Health & Safety Managers (CHSMs)
Ruan Delport and Shaun Michael Crous both registered CHSOs run the Contractor health and safety officer division.
We are members of the Association of Construction Health & Safety Management (ACHASM), a voluntary association of like-minded construction health & safety professionals, formed in 2008, of which Marius is a founding member and Director.
